Why am I not "connected" with my God and Goddess anymore?

I honor Isis and Apollo, but I'm not feeling the connection anymore. Why is that? I have just recently switched my god and goddess, but now I don't... feel them. Should I wait a little longer (like a month or so) to see if I can become familiar with them?
